Distance has not dissolved my
Ever Flowing Love for you.
Now that time has evaporated
that seductive steam!
(oh! so seductive)
They have now crystallized like meth,
my feelings that had ached my soft core
like a rapturous encore.
And now I snort it out like Coke
Albeit aware that I might run out of stock
And die of shock regarding the loss of spark.
Is this love song dedicated to your blog? Cheers!

Haha very much :)
DeleteThank you!
How sad it is we see both the best and worst in people in crises such as Covid now all over the world.
ReplyDeleteI also thought at first that it was a love poem to your blog! (As the note about the blog immediately follows the title of the poem. Happy 10th anniversary, Blog!) I enjoyed the word-play.
ReplyDeleteThe new dashboard is meant for mobile phones. (But I don't even use it there.) At the bottom of the left-hand column you should be able to click on the link, 'Back to classic blogger' ... and breathe a deep sigh of relief.
This reminds me that nothing is gone, only changes form. Love the part where steam crystallizes.
ReplyDeleteLove in your style even though it might fizzle out! I guess one might interpret your words in different ways..
ReplyDeleteGorgeous write! Happy blog anniversary!! Ten years is a huge achievement!!💘💘
ReplyDeletePretty heavy stuff .. enjoyed the write!
ReplyDeleteMeth? Coke? Are you sure it's time that evaporated the steam?....
ReplyDeleteLove can certainly be a drug and the changes can soothe or burn.
ReplyDeleteI am in trance!!
